As of 27th September 2022, OZEV has launched a series of schemes focusing on charge point funding grants for a number of different purposes and type of charge point installation applicants. These grants are offered namely to destination chargers, however, there is also funding available for public authorities to install on-street charge points.

Workplace Charging Scheme
The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is a voucher-based scheme that provides eligible applicants with support towards the upfront costs of the purchase and installation of electric vehicle (EV) chargepoints. This grant can be used in conjunction with the EV infrastructure grant for staff and fleet.
EV infrastructure grant for staff and fleets
Small-to-medium-sized businesses can get grants to install electric vehicle charging infrastructure in their commercial car parks. The grant covers up to 75% of the cost of installing the infrastructure needed for chargepoints to operate and for future chargepoints to be installed, as well as the cost of any chargepoints installed.
The On-Street Residential Chargepoint Scheme (ORCS)
Open for application from local authorities, the scheme is run by The Energy Saving Trust on behalf of OZEV and offers funding for 60% of the capital costs involved in procuring and installing on-street electric car charge points and dedicated parking bays, up to a value of £7,500.
The EV infrastructure grant for residential car parks
The EV infrastructure grant for residential car parks is for entities that rent, lease or manage properties on behalf of clients in the UK.The grant covers up to 75% of the cost of installing the infrastructure needed for chargepoint installation.
EV chargepoint grant for landlords
The EV chargepoint grant for landlords is for residential or commercial parking spaces. To apply you must be a landlord or other entity that rents, leases or manages properties in the UK.
